Cancellation costs and cancellation windows vary by supplier. Due to the customized nature of your getaway, trip insurance is highly recommended in the event you need to cancel or postpone your trip. We can offer guidance on insurance policies that may suit your needs, including the ability to cancel for any reason.
Note: Camellia Bend Luxury Travel reserves the right to charge up to a 15% cancellation fee.
What if I cancel my trip?
Yes, we can book luxury private homes around the globe! We work with vetted partners to guarantee these properties are perfect for your needs. Please note that we don’t book with Airbnb or VRBO given we can not verify the quality and legitimacy of listings.
Do you book private villas?
Yes, we book airfare for our full-service clients. There is an additional air ticketing fee for this added service because we manage any schedule changes that occur before or during travel. If an emergency happens after normal business hours, the Brownell air desk can assist.

A service fee helps us ensure a mutual commitment to collaborating on your adventure. We bring years of knowledge and connections around the world to help bring your experiences to life. Remember: We often find savings, that you might not find on your own, and we can often add complimentary amenities to your stay!
What do you charge a travel design fee?
Figuring out a budget is an issue that we all face in our travels. If you haven't been to a given destination previously, it can be difficult to know what's reasonable for the getaway you have in mind. We want to ensure that we are proposing a trip that maximizes your dollar and fits within your budget.
How much should I budget for my trip?
Our fees are dependent on the scope of work. For example, our comprehensive travel design fees start at $500 per week of travel, for up to 4 travelers. This fee would include the initial consultation, research, proposal development, booking all components of your trip including accommodations, transfers, tours, restaurant reservations, access to VIP experiences, preferred pricing, unique experiences, and assistance in purchasing travel insurance.
What are the service costs for trip planning?
We love sharing the inside scoop on places that are near and dear to us, but we love researching and planning for new destinations too! Our affiliation with Brownell provides us with an amazing team of travel partners located across the globe that specialize in certain destinations to provide insight and guidance as we craft a super special itinerary for your escape.
